Kai is originally from Los Angeles and now lives and works between Paris and LA. Kai Aspire is working in the 21st century a time where people are inundated with imagery even more consistently. He takes images from popular culture and advertisements and appropriates their messages into the format of street art. The holidays are here and Freeway Editions has hand selected a special collection of unique prints to give to the art lovers in your life! We have built lasting relationships with some of the most prominent international contemporary artists and from these relationships come collaborations to create exclusive pieces. Our artists make screen prints and hand-painted pieces in our Los Angeles studio and then work with our printers through every step of the printmaking process. In tandem with our exciting new website launch we also have some unique new prints by Speedy Graphito to add to the Freeway Editions collection! These one of a kind pieces were recently made here in Los Angeles.
While here on the west coast in July-August 2014, Speedy Graphito worked with our print shop Serio Press to create a new series of original hand-painted screen prints entitled “Angel Demon” and “
