Freeway Editions has been talking about Rero's upcoming 2015 show in LA for sometime now. We finally had the chance to sit down and speak with the artist in November. His visit to Los Angeles was all about production and preparation for exhibition in the new year, however amongst this chaos Rero was kind enough to talk to us!  We were excited to speak about his artistic background and to hear about his new series of work. Zevs (born 1977) is an anonymous French street artist, best known for his trademark "liquidation" technique. He was an early and influential graffiti artist and active as a tagger in Paris in the 1990s. He is named after a regional train, Zeus, that almost ran him over one day he was down in the metro. To round out this week Freeway Editions wanted to speak about Smash137’s new solo exhibition entitled “New Color”.
