"POL-ETHICALLY CORRECT" a Solo Exhibition by Fidia Falaschetti
This weekend marked Fidia Falaschetti's first solo exhibition in the United States. Freeway Editions was so excited to attend the opening reception of "POL-ETHICALLY CORRECT" and support one of our incredible artists! The show's artwork takes a detailed look at various social, political, and cultural relationships. From the pyramid of trash and books to the repurposed vintage blackboards taken directly from the artist's hometown elementary school, Fidia Falaschetti gets personal and leaves no issue untouched.

In conjunction with our Bumblebee Loves You interview we would like to also highlight his work on FreeWay Editions. Bumblebee first found his artistic voice on the walls of abandoned buildings in the Los Angeles suburb of Downey. His art often speaks to a specific public with subjects of innocence, coming of age, and transition. He first became known for his "Andre the Giant Has a Posse" (…OBEY…) sticker campaign, in which he appropriated images from the comedic supermarket tabloid Weekly World News. We all know Shepard Fairey primarily for his 2008 U.S. presidential election Barack Obama "Hope" poster.
