Freeway Editions is starting 2015 off by featuring the work of Charlie Anderson. An emerging artist with an exciting new twist on pop art, Anderson creates detailed paintings by layering text, images, and appropriated forms to produce a new style of painting.

Charlie Anderson is a contemporary urban inspired painter. He graduated from Edinburgh College of Art in 2009 and since has been developing his unique style of pop-art painting. Rero in 2015

Freeway Editions has been talking about Rero's upcoming 2015 show in LA for sometime now. We finally had the chance to sit down and speak with the artist in November. Zevs Liquidated Art

Zevs (born 1977) is an anonymous French street artist, best known for his trademark "liquidation" technique. He was an early and influential graffiti artist and active as a tagger in Paris in the 1990s. He is named after a regional train, Zeus, that almost ran him over one day he was down in the metro. Smash137's New Color

To round out this week Freeway Editions wanted to speak about Smash137’s new solo exhibition entitled “New Color”. The show is on exhibit at Galerie Neuheisel in Germany until January 21st. The title “Neue Fabre” or “New Color” comes from a story of childhood nostalgia, Adrian Falkner AKA Smash137, recalls trying to mix colors and make “a new color” with his brother as a child.
