Happy Friday to all! Freeway Editions would like to highlight some recent or upcoming art shows that are happening around the world, all featuring the work of our very own Freeway artists. If you happened to be in any of these places, make sure to check out these shows or openings!
First up is Gajin Fujita, a local LA artist, who currently has a show up at LA Louver entitled "Warriors, Ghosts, and Ancient Gods of the Pacific". This show opened earlier this week and looks absolutely incredible. If you aren't familiar with Fujita's work, we highly suggest you check this show out! See the link above for details.
Secondly, Thomas Canto was recently here in Los Angeles and stopped by for a visit. He mentioned several exciting shows in the making, which we will keep you posted about, but currently, the artist is part a group show in Morocco. The show is curated by Print them All and includes the work of several top urban artists from around the world. This ongoing show includes the works of Maya Hayuk, Ron English, Adrian Falkner, Daleast, C215, Case Maclaim,Miss van, Tilt, Kan, Simo Mouhib, Wahib. The exhibition is up at Mohammed VI modern and contemporary art museum in Rabat, Morocco. On view until December 31st, so you have some time to see this one. Click here for more information.
And last but NOT least, Charlie Anderson is having an open studio event next Friday, June 5th. He is literally opening the door of his studio, showing off old and new work and offering cold beer.
